Black Dawg Construction began as a partnership between Jeff Raw and Eric Nave. The two have combined their Midwestern roots along with their Southern values to create a construction company focused on delivering a high-quality product and making sure our customers expectations are met and exceeded. Black Dawg Construction has been an ongoing project of Jeff's since approximately 1980, when as a small child he was part of the team at Richard Raw Construction in Medina, Ohio. Working alongside them, he not only learned a valuable trade,but developed a strong work ethic. After graduating from Ohio University with a Bachelors degree in Telecommunications he went to work with Lucent Technologies and went on to earn a Master's degree in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado. However, after 8 years in a cubicle, he decided to get back to doing what he really loved, and that is working with real estate, houses and building things. That led to the formation of Black Dawg Construction and his involvement as a Real Estate Agent at Bo Bridgeport Brokers. Jeff is also involved in Real Estate Investment around the Southeast United States. Eric graduated in 1994 from Northern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management.  In the course of 10 years he has worked with some of the premier commercial construction firms in town such as Beers-Skanska, Fortune-Johnson, R.J. Griffin and PRS Construction. Eric has successfully managed projects ranging from 10+ story high-rise condominium complexes to 500+ unit multi-family structures. Eric has met all requirements of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division and the National Pollution Discharge Erosion and Sedimentation (NPDES). Eric Nave has been deemed a “Qualified Person” under these agencies. He has also received over 40 hours of training from the U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Eric is currentlyworking with Draper and Associates on high rise projects inFlorida, Georgia, and North Carolina and has assumed a consultant role with Black Dawg Construction. With's Jeff's growing involvement in the Real Estate and Lease/Purchase aspects of the business he saw a need to partner with the talented team at Eagle Development.  This team, spearheaded by David Martino, brings many years of experience in renovating large scale apartment complexes, new home building, renovation, and was one of the early adopters in the GREEN Building movement.  His Earthcraft and LEED certifications make BDC and Eagle Development the right choice for your next project.  David brings his Atlanta roots and his family's New York ways to make sure you are pleased with both the speed and quality of your project.
